About the National Account Executive position

We are looking for an experienced National Account Executive to join our team. This is a sales leadership role that leads the company's efforts to maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location prospects and customers with an assigned territory.

As a National Account Executive, you should be organized and able to achieve sales quotas in multiple product lines. We also expect you to have good negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers.

Ultimately, you should be able to facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.

National Account Executive responsibilities are:

  • Establishing productive, professional relationships with customers and key personnel who influence business decisions

  • Become a "product expert" in all of the company's product offerings

  • Lead solution development efforts including teaching the customer/prospect, tailoring the sales process to address customer needs

  • Achieve sales quotas defined by the company

  • Seeking prospective customers

  • Ensuring brand consistency

  • Negotiating contracts

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction

National Account Executive requirements are:

  • 5 - 10 years sales experience and 2-5 years National Account sales experience

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Knowledge of the trailer/power industry and/or equipment leasing is a definite advantage

  • Public speaking

  • Good negotiation skills

  • Proficient with CRM and MS Excel Software

  • Displaying professionalism and leadership skills

  • Able to travel as needed (60 - 75% of the time)

  • BA/BSc degree in, Business, Marketing or a related field
